Tips:

1. Please choose appropriate hardware for optimal compatibility. Prioritize products that have passed compatibility testing to ensure a better user experience.

2. Compatibility tests cannot cover every aspect of all products on the market, and changes in hardware or software may affect device compatibility and stability.

3. HDDs and SSDs have a defined lifespan. Make sure to check the status of your drives and take appropriate measures to avoid potential data loss.

4. It is not recommended to use SMR (Shingled Magnetic Recording) hard drives or mix old and new drives in the same RAID storage array, as this may lead to a risk of data loss.

The M.2 interface supports high-speed storage and read-only cache features

1. Install an NVMe 2280 SSD in the M.2 slot.

2. Given the compatibility and power consumption issues of PCIe 4.0, it is not recommended to install SSDs with high power PCIe 4.0.

3. When setting up high-speed storage, the SSD must be at least 32GB, with a maximum of 8TB supported.

4. It is recommended to choose SSDs from well-known brands.

5. SSDs with heatsinks are not supported; remove thick labels before installation if necessary.

Note: Choose a high-endurance SSD. As SSD lifespan is limited by write cycles, be sure to select one with higher durability to reduce potential risks

SD Card

It is recommended to use the tested SD card in the compatibility list.

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

It is recommended to use the tested UPS in the compatibility list.

HDD

1. Supports 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives with SATA interface.

2. Supports minimum actual capacity of 100GB (marked capacity above 120GB); maximum capacity up to 30TB.

3. Avoid using SMR drives, especially do not use SMR drives in RAID1 or RAID5 mode. Confirm SMR status with dealers or search by models online. For RAID5, use enterprise or NAS drives to reduce data risk.

4. Not recommended to use certain brand-customized drives as they may cause unexpected errors or fail to be recognized.

5. Recommended to use major brand NAS drives, such as Seagate IronWolf series and Western Digital Red Plus/Pro series.

6. SAS interface drives are currently not supported.

Memory module

1. For DDR4 supported models, choose laptop memory modules of 2666MHz or higher. For DDR5 supported models, choose laptop memory modules of 4800MHz or higher.

2. When using two memory modules, it is recommended to match the same brand and model, such as 16+16GB or 32+32GB. Maximum support is up to 64GB.

3. According to the Intel official website, N100 CPU supports 16GB DDR5 4800MHz in maximum; and G8505 & i3-1215U & i5-1235U and i7-1255U CPU support 64GB DDR5 4800MHz in maximum. Exceeding official specs may affect compatibility and stability.

*It is recommended to buy such major brands as Samsung, Kioxia and Kingston. Gloway is not recommended.

Supports SATA interface SSDs

1. It is recommended to use a tested compatible SSD.

2. SSDs with heatsinks are not supported.

Note: Choose a high-endurance SSD. As SSD lifespan is limited by write cycles, be sure to select one with higher durability to reduce potential risks.
